README - glTF
Setup:
This README will guide you on how to bring in downloaded glTFs files into your Enscape Asset Library. Have Revit open and your downloaded .ZIP file located. This example will be using a .ZIP file from one of our kits, which can be found, which can be found under the Kit Curious Banner, or with any kit purchased. The first step is locating the source path for the Enscape Asset Library.
Step 1: Navigate to the Revit ribbon and click on the Enscape tab.
Step 2: Click on the Asset Library icon.
Step 3: Once the Enscape Asset Library menu is open make sure the Custom Assets tab is selected at the top.
Step 4: In the bottom right corner click on the source path folder.
Step 5: The address bar will show the path and location of the Enscape Asset Folder. (Can also be viewed by hovering over the source path folder). Navigate to this location and open the Enscape folder.
Step 6: Find the location of your .ZIP file. In this example it is located in the Downloads.
Step 7: Double click on .ZIP file to open it, and either copy all of the files in the .ZIP to be pasted in the Enscape Asset Library by shift clicking the first and last file, OR after grabbing all these files they can also be dragged and dropped into the Enscape Asset Folder as well.
Step 8: While it is perfectly ok for you to drag and drop these files directly into the Enscape Asset Folder. A best practice would be to create a new folder in the Enscape Asset Folder called Trees, and this would act as the location for the files you’ve copied from the .ZIP.
Step 9: Once the .ZIP files have been relocated to the Enscape Asset Folder they should now appear in your Custom Assets tab back in the Enscape Asset Library! All of the settings can now be adjusted by clicking edit on the individual assets.
